The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a sumptuous forested reserve, a rare tropical forest that is home to a realm of unique plants, birds and animals & the sacred preserve of hikers and walkers. These forests are remarkably unspoilt; a wilderness of extremely beautiful woodland routes – with no driving tracks at all, brings walkers to the spectacular 170 m drop of Sanje Waterfalls, with colourful and long ranging views of up to 100km across the Kilombero valley and mosaic of grasslands from the top.
Simple itinerary
Day 1:Meet in Dar es salaam at 0700 hrs & drive to Mikumi(6hrs drive). Late afternoon game drive with sunset view & watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo pool. Overnight at Camp ( Lunch & Dinner).
Day 2:After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa, hiking to Sanje Falls. Enjoy swimming in cool water. Overnight at Camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 3:Full day game drive. Overnight at Camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
