Five days Budget Cycling Tour

Day 1 Arrival in Zanzibar, transfer to Hotel

After arriving at Zanzibar International Airport or Ferry you are welcomed by your guide. Transfer to your accommodation in Nungwi. 1hour trip

Day 2. Nungwi and the north

Cycle through rural villages, explore Portuguese ruins dating back to the sixteenth century, swim in a tidal, half fresh half salt, clear water cave and adventure through recently discovered stunning coral caves filled with stalagmite and stalactite crystal rocks.

Day 3. Visit the so called Red earth village.

This tour will take you to a village built on deep red earth and introduce you to local traditional lifestyle that very few foreigners have ever been lucky enough to see. You will visit local fish trap maker and dhow nails blscksmith. You will visit women floor mate and bucket maker.(Using biodegradible material).

Day 4. Matemwe and North East region.

Cycle alongside soft waves down the long flat beaches of the North East coast before entering the enormous caves of Kiwengwa, hosting stalagmite and stalactite crystal rocks. Tour through rice farm plantations and learn about harvesting and picking with the opportunity to try it yourself. Finally cycle to the local fruit and vegetable market where you will get to take a break and watch the bustling trade whilst tasting a selection of locally grown fruits.

Day 5. Offroad biking to a hidden beach.

This is the most adventurous cycling tour to date and see inside Zanzibar on off road routes that cannot be travelled by car. Visit one of the most magnificent view points of the Northern region with panoramic views of the North West coast and Tumbatu Island. Bike on grassy dirt tracks through the wilderness passing lusciously green fruit and vegetable farms of the Northern region. Finaly reach the island hidden paradise that only local and few tourist know about it.

Day 6 Tour end

Transfer to the airport or Ferry.
